School Rules

Our school rules have been formulated by Year 6 students and Staff, and are updated regularly. We also have a set of simple playground rules we follow.

Be proud of yourself, your work and your school

  • Wear uniform with pride;
  • Behave well at school, at sporting events, on excursions and when travelling to and from school;
  • Play fair;
  • produce quality work.

Respect the rights of others

  • Follow teachers' instructions;
  • Give everyone a fair go;
  • Be kind, friendly and pleasant;
  • Be helpful;
  • Show respect.

Learn all you can

  • Pay attention;
  • Seek help in your learning;
  • Complete classwork and homework neatly, carefully and on time;
  • Put in 100% effort.

Be at the right place, at the right time

  • Never miss school or any lesson without proper permission;
  • Be punctual;
  • Stay in bounds.

Be safe and sensible

  • Play safely and sensibly;
  • Take care on and with equipment;
  • Walk sensibly around the buildings;
  • Avoid any activity which may cause an injury or embarrassment;
  • Only bring to school those things that are safe and sensible.

Care for all property

  • Look after your own belongings;
  • Leave other people's property alone;
  • Take care of all school property and the school environment;
  • Help keep your school tidy.

Playground rules

  • Play safely, play sensibly;
  • Hands off - feet off;
  • Run on the grass but walk on the cement;
  • If you don't have a hat, play in the shade area in front of the library;
  • Include, don't exclude;
  • Bin it, don't drop it. Put your litter in the bin;
  • Play only in supervised areas and see a teacher if you need help.
